The Opportunity

• New 115kV right of way construction for Côté Gold mine (2021-2022)

• Land clearing of future mine site (2022-2023)

 

Equipment Used

• 2 CMI 300 mulchers

• 1 PT300 mulcher

• 1 LTR8290 Lamtrac mulcher

• 1 Peterson 4310 Chipper 

 

Work Summary

To clear the right of way, DFI used two CMI 300 mulchers and a chipper. Caron Equipment provided a buncher and skidder to cut and lay down larger trees to clear the land, while DFI mulched wood piles and existing standing vegetation within the marked area over the future mine.
